This work explores ideas around paring back, slowing down, and pursuing simple acts that offer respite from the relentless hustle and busyness of life.  It is centred around actions that give one a sense of ataraxia, or tranquillity. The figures are portrayed simply and without any additional adornments, hinting at the desire to return to a more natural state of being. The limbs fade away into the surrounding environment to create a feeling of transience and fragility.
